About CWS Demountable Walls

The Deepest Demountable Wall Portfolio and Largest Finish Library in the Moderco NYC Lineup

Contract Wall Solutions (CWS) manufactures five demountable glass partition and modular wall system products from its facility in Vaughan, Ontario. The CWS demountable line covers all-glass partitions, solid frame-and-tile walls with cable management, monolithic glass systems, double-pane acoustic glass, and integrated storage. No other manufacturer in the Moderco NYC portfolio offers this range of demountable configurations from a single source.

CWS for Both Demountable and Operable Walls

CWS is represented by Moderco NYC for both demountable wall systems (MONO, TEK, SLIM, GEMELLI, ANTA) and operable partition systems (FLEXX Scena, Flow, Soul, Luma). Projects that require both product categories from a single manufacturer can source everything through one distributor with coordinated finishes across both product lines. CWS carries the largest finish library in the portfolio with over 130 surface options. For CWS’s operable wall product lines, visit our CWS operable walls page.

CWS Demountable Product Range

Five Product Lines for Every Demountable Glass Partition and Office Wall Requirement

CWS manufactures demountable glass partitions and modular wall systems across four primary product lines plus an integrated storage system (ANTA) that connects with MONO and TEK installations. Each product addresses a different balance of visual transparency, acoustic performance, and infrastructure requirements.

MONO

All-glass demountable partition designed for maximum daylight penetration. 10mm or 12mm glass in anodized or painted aluminum frames. Sliding or hinged doors in glass, solid core wood, or veneer. Integrates seamlessly with TEK and ANTA for mixed configurations within a single project.

TEK

Frame-and-tile demountable wall system with large internal cavities for voice, power, and data routing. Easily reconfigurable post-occupancy. Surface finishes include laminate, veneer, painted MDF, back-painted glass, laminated steel, and fabrics. Integrates with MONO and ANTA. The only demountable system in the portfolio with built-in cable management.

SLIM

Monolithic all-glass demountable wall with a 27mm rectangular aluminum profile. High-performance acoustic balloon gaskets secure 10mm or 12mm tempered or laminated safety glass. Sliding or hinged doors in solid core wood, laminate, or framed/frameless glass. Made-to-order for project-specific configurations.

GEMELLI

Double-pane demountable glass wall with a 4-inch profile for higher acoustic performance. Single offset or double pane glass options in 10mm or 12mm tempered or laminated safety glass. Positioned as the highest acoustic performer in the CWS demountable glass line. Made-to-order for project-specific configurations.

All-Glass Partition

MONO. Pure Glass Aesthetics with Maximum Daylight Penetration

MONO is CWS’s minimalist all-glass demountable partition. It is designed for environments where visual transparency and natural light are the primary specification drivers, with the partition serving as a near-invisible division between spaces.

  • Minimal Aluminum Framing with Full Glass Transparency

MONO uses 10mm or 12mm glass panels in anodized or painted aluminum frames. The system is characterized by a small selection of components that create an elegant and sophisticated spatial division while maximizing daylight penetration across the floor plate. Door options include sliding and hinged configurations in glass, solid core wood, or veneer finishes.

MONO integrates seamlessly with TEK (solid frame-and-tile) and ANTA (storage) systems, allowing architects to combine all-glass sections with opaque sections and built-in storage within a single partition run. Hardware is customizable based on project specifications. The full CWS finish library applies to MONO’s aluminum frame components.

Frame-and-Tile with Cable Management

TEK. The Only Demountable System in the Portfolio with Integrated Cable Routing

TEK is CWS’s frame-and-tile demountable wall system. Its defining feature is large internal cavities that route voice, power, and data cabling with full post-occupancy accessibility. No other demountable wall manufacturer in the Moderco NYC portfolio offers this capability.

  • Reconfigurable Walls with Voice, Power, and Data Infrastructure

TEK uses a structural frame with removable tile surfaces that can be reconfigured without demolition. The internal wall cavity is specifically dimensioned to accommodate voice, power, and data cabling with full accessibility after the wall is installed. When a department reorganizes or IT infrastructure changes, TEK walls can be opened, recabled, and closed without removing the partition from service.

Surface finish options for TEK tiles include laminate, veneer, painted MDF, back-painted glass, laminated steel, and fabrics in anodized or painted aluminum framing. TEK integrates with MONO (glass) and ANTA (storage), allowing a single partition run to combine solid cable-managed sections with transparent glass sections and built-in shelving.

TEK is specified for technology-driven corporate offices, trading floors, and any environment where cabling infrastructure changes more frequently than the physical layout of the space.

Monolithic Glass

SLIM. Seamless Glass with a 27mm Aluminum Profile

SLIM is CWS’s monolithic all-glass demountable wall. It achieves the slenderest profile in the CWS demountable line at just 27mm, creating a seamless glass environment with minimal visible framing.

  • High-Performance Acoustic Gaskets in the Slimmest CWS Profile

SLIM uses a 27mm high rectangular extruded aluminum profile with a snap-on pressure cover that locks 10mm or 12mm tempered or laminated safety glass into place. High-performance acoustic balloon gaskets are integrated into the glazing system to provide acoustic separation without increasing the visible frame dimension.

Door options include sliding and hinged configurations in solid core wood, laminate, and framed or frameless glass. Frame finishes are available in anodized aluminum. SLIM is compatible with all other CWS product lines, allowing it to be combined with MONO, TEK, GEMELLI, or ANTA within a single project.

SLIM is manufactured on a make-to-order basis for project-specific dimensions and configurations. It is specified for executive floors, boutique hospitality environments, and high-end commercial spaces where the glass partition must be as visually minimal as possible.

Acoustic Double-Pane Glass

GEMELLI. Double-Pane Glass for Higher Acoustic Performance

GEMELLI is CWS’s highest acoustic demountable glass wall. Its 4-inch profile accommodates single offset or double pane glass configurations, providing acoustic separation that exceeds single-glass systems while maintaining full visual transparency.

  • 4-Inch Profile with Single Offset or Double Pane Glass Options

GEMELLI uses a 4-inch wide aluminum profile with 10mm or 12mm tempered or laminated safety glass in single offset or double pane configurations. The wider profile and air gap between glass panes provide higher acoustic performance than single-glass systems like MONO and SLIM, making GEMELLI the preferred specification for conference rooms, private offices, and healthcare environments where sound isolation and visual transparency are both required.

Door options include sliding and hinged configurations in solid core wood, laminate, and framed or frameless glass. Frame finishes are available in anodized aluminum on a project-specific basis. GEMELLI is compatible with all other CWS product lines and is manufactured on a make-to-order basis.

Finish Options

The Largest Finish Library of Any Demountable Wall Manufacturer in Our Portfolio

CWS offers over 130 surface finish options across its demountable wall product lines. No other demountable wall manufacturer in the Moderco NYC portfolio approaches this level of finish variety. Architects and interior designers specify CWS when the demountable partition must integrate seamlessly with a controlled interior palette.

  • 73 Aluminum Frame Finishes, 57 Panel Finishes, and Premium Surface Materials

Aluminum frame finishes include 7 standard anodized and painted options, 9 aluminum wood prints, 19 RAL colors, and 33 specialty finishes across the Spark, Satin, Silk, and Weathering Steel series. TEK panel surface options add 28 solid colors, 3 fabric effects, and 26 wood patterns for a total of 57 additional tile finishes. ANTA storage components are available in laminates and veneers to match TEK and MONO installations. The same finish ecosystem applies across CWS’s demountable and operable wall product lines, ensuring finish continuity on projects that use both product categories.
